The world is roundshaped due to Earth’s gravity. As mass pulls in other mass, the gravity pulls everything vaguely equally on every side giivng earth the sphere shape it has!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

The International Astronomical Union decided in 2006 that this ability was one of the requirements for an object to be considered a planet. They must orbit the Sun, they need to have cleared out all the smaller objects in their orbit, and they need to have enough gravity to pull themselves into a sphere.<\/span><\/h3>\n

When an object has the gravity to pull itself into a sphere, astronomers say that it\u2019s in hydrostatic equilibrium. And that\u2019s why the Earth is round.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
